FREE TEXAS HOLDEM - Rules

Texas Holdem is the best known community card game, that can be played both in conventional casinos and in online poker rooms. When playing Free Texas Holdem players play for free money and fun and they do not risk their real money. Unfortunately playing for free money is possible only over the Internet. It is played with an ordinary 52- card deck and has four betting rounds. Before the cards are dealt, players have to put antes into the pot or to post the blinds. Then each player is dealt two facedown cards, these are his pocket or hole cards, and the action begins, with the first player to the left of the dealer. The action in most poker games proceeds clockwise. The pre-flop is the first betting round and when it is over, the dealer discards three face-up community cards. After that, the flop (second betting round) starts, now players can use both their pocket cards and the three community cards to form a poker hand. When the flop ends, another community card is dealt, followed by the turn (the third betting round). Finally, the fifth community card is discarded and the river (fourth betting round) comes. When the river finishes, all the players at the showdown reveal their cards and determine the winner, this is the player who holds the best five-card combination.

FREE TEXAS HOLDEM - Blinds and Antes

These are mandatory bets that are put before the play of Texas Holdem starts. While Antes is not very common method with Texas Holdem specifically, and in which amount does not count toward your bet on the first round of betting, Blinds are based on the limit of the game, and they count toward your total investment toward the first round of betting. Prior to cards being dealt, the first player to the immediate left of the dealer posts the Small Blind, and the Big Blind is posted by the second player to the dealer’s left.

FREE TEXAS HOLDEM - Top Five No-No’s

When you play Free Texas Holdem you must have an appropriate behaviour, firstly you should not reveal your cards while a hand is going on. Then you have to demonstrate a conservative behaviour, do not react to the cards on the board at all. The third thing is the advice not to be a douchebag, do not criticize an opponent’s play, being verbally abusive to another player, or by being cocky about how good you are. Instead, when someone has met those qualifications by talking directly to you, the best thing to do is just smile and agree. Another advice is not to blame the dealer, he really, actually, and truly has no control over what cards are dealt, you’d better respect him. Finally, do not talk about a hand when you aren’t in it, because it is against the rules in most places.
